BENJAMIN VAN BUSKIRK

Benjamin Van Buskirk was born about 1765 and married Maria Hardick on January 19, 1776 at Athens, New York. She was the daughter of Jacob Hardick and Magdalena ( ).

1. Magdalena ("Lana"), Baptized February 14, 1794 at Athens, New York; witnesses Jacob Hardick and wife.. Married Garrit Van Hoesen (III).

Garrit was the son of Garrit Van Hoesen and Catherine Van Buskirk, who was Lana Van Buskirk's fourth cousin. Their daughter Rachael Van Hoesen married Richard Vandenburg Van Hoesen, her fifth cousin.

2. Mary, born October 10, 1796, baptized Athens New York; witnesses Laurence Van Buskirk and wife Mary Kloww.
